Of course I mean life of those Gujjar girls seen in this image. Going and coming may be OK and fun but living there must be different. I have read about mosquitoes and scorpions there up in the north. No amenities we take them for guaranteed in urban areas.
I would like to share about Gujjars with both of you. I want to say this because I have spent almost nine years of my life with those nomadic people in Deosai and Dass Bala Village. As a group in general they can tolerate unbearably cold temperatures and harsh conditions. They walk most of the summer grazing their goats, sheep and mules in the snow, rain and extreme weather. They love their life style and provide good support to the communities in many ways.
Beautiful to look at. I am wondering how is it to live this life? I am sure it must be hard.
ReplyDeleteIf you mean the Gujjars' life, that certainly is strenuous. If you mean mine, not too bad.

ReplyDeleteMosquitoes yes. Scorpions do not survive in that intense cold.
